Look Keo Blade Carbon Ti Pedals - 2018

The Look Keo Blade Ti is a true engineering masterpiece. By replacing the classic coil spring design with a leaf spring mechanism, Look has dramatically reduced the weight of the pedal, increased cleat security and improved aerodynamic performance. With a wholly redesigned spindle, this pedal also offers a marked improvement in efficiency. Now, the newly oversized titanium axle and spindle combination pass through the internal roller and needle bearings under the pedal platform. As a result, these pedals save 2 watts compared to the previous model when pedalling at 100rpm. Because of the lightweight carbon pedal chassis, titanium components and leaf spring mechanism, each pedal weighs a meagre 95 grams.  

Look has also made a marked improvement in the all-weather durability of the pedals too. Now, the axle comes with an updated end plug, O-ring washer and an internal doubled lipped seal, which increases water-resistance by 120% compared to the previous model.  

As any bike fitter will tell you - a broader pedal platform offers more efficiency, stability and speed. Because the Look Keo Blade Ti has been designed with a large, 67mm-wide durable stainless-steel plate and offers 700 mm² of surface area; this pedal optimises the cleat-pedal interface for stability, power transfer and efficiency. As a by-product of this new wider platform, now, no matter your pedalling angle, these pedals ensure equally optimised performance for all riders, regardless of fit.
