Fulcrum Racing Zero Clincher Wheelset - Bright Label

For 2013 Fulcrum have made some subtle but important updates to the legendary Racing Zero clincher wheelset. This top of the range clincher wheelset still features USB ceramic bearing hubs and a cleverly milled rim, but it now has updated graphics and a mega-drive rear hub flange for additional stiffness and improved power transfer.

Key Features:

• The new mega-drive side hub features a larger driveside flange for improved stiffness and power transfer and also a small weight saving.
• New graphics for 2013.
• The rims are made of extremely high precision aluminium extrusions and then triple milled which make it possible to eliminate all excess material, so they are ultra-light but at the same time very strong.
• The front and rear wheel profiles are differentiated: the 23mm height for the front guarantees excellent aerodynamic penetration, while the 27mm of the rear wheel means extremely effective transmission of your pedalling power and improved aerodynamic performance.
• The hubs use Ceramic USB (Ultra Smooth Bearing) bearings, specially developed by Fulcrum they significantly increase the smoothness of the wheels, reduce servicing needs, and further decreasing weight.
• The Racing 0 wheels feature Fulcrums USB ceramic bearings which are 30% lighter, 40% more resistant and 50% smoother compared to the steel bearings featured in the 3's, 5's and 7's.
• Fulcrum 2:1 spoke ratio on rear wheel, doubles the number of spokes on the drive side for greater wheel stability and improved power transfer in the rear wheel.
• 16 radial aero spokes on front wheel, 21 on rear laced with aluminium nipples for strength and low weight.
• Fulcrum Dynamic Balance keeps the Racing 0 wheels perfectly stable but is achieved in the rim milling process rather than spokes in the Racing 5.
• Carbon fibre hub bodies with aluminium flanges are strong, light and stiff.

• Includes the new Fulcrum quick releases.
• Please note this is a clincher wheelset and only suitable for use with clincher tyres.

The Shimano version of this wheelset is Shimano 11 speed compatible, it is also compatible with 9 and 10 speed Shimano but you will need to use the spacer provided. Please note that this 11 speed compatibility is a rolling change from Fulcrum for their 2013 wheelsets so please check the description for this message about compatibility.
