The Bergamo Collection celebrates three famous climbs in the town of Bergamo, where Santini are based. Each piece of the cycling kit has a unique design with details that are inspired by the scenery on each climb.
Raced in several Giro d’Italia tours, Colle Del Gallo is a mountain pass that connects the Seriana Valley and Val Cavallina in the province of Bergamo. Rising 736m, the climb starts from Albino in the west and the 10.5km route to the top has a 9% gradient during its steepest section.
The cycling bib shorts are detailed with a Colle Gallo graphic to the leg cuffs and symbols of the iconic ‘Madonna dei Ciclisti’ (Lady of the Snow) that greets cyclists at the top of the hill in the sanctuary of the Colle Del Gallo. The bib shorts are the ideal way to complete the look with the other garments from the same line.
The mesh braces are elasticated and breathable for comfort. The innovative Max 2 chamois, made in antibacterial fiber and with a Twist Gel core is able to return to the original shape even after long hours on the saddle.
